[h=1]DFID assures support to KP[/h]
PESHAWAR, Sept 9: DFID in Pakistan has assured the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government of supporting its initiative of Strategic Development Partnership Framework (SDPF).
The assurance was given at a meeting with a DFID delegation which called on the Chief Minister Pervez Khattak here the other day, according to a press release issued on Monday.
Mr Khattak informed the delegation about the initiatives of the PTI led coalition government in the province like promulgation of Right to Information Ordinance, devolution of responsibilities to local governments and transfer of 50 per cent funds to the districts and villages.
The chief minister said that an independent accountability commission with authority even to lay hands on the chief minister would soon by set up.
He said upon enactment of new local government laws, work over a Provincial Finance Commission would also be initiated.

metro bus ka sub se masla tickton ki kimat hai, awam ko hush karne ke liye unhon ne kimat bihat kam rakhi hai, balke hakumat apne se subsidy karti hai.

u should know there is diff between IK and showbaz? he did that for elec and in hurry,but IK is not doing after elec.

masla road par admion aur garion ke taadad kam karni hai, agar us purane track par tram bnani hai iss se to traffic ka masla khtam to nahin ho, balke aur barhe ga.

Same will happen in KPK because of borrowing too much money, just need 5 trams n the infrastructure is there, use it, I don't know why PTI is not doing it

they haven't decided it yet? w8 for the right time when it starts/some other news related to it comes, they know better. ( no one wil support if they do useless stuff)

Trams dont run on the same kind of rail tracks buddy. On top of that, tram system requires a very disciplined traffic and pedestrians with good traffic sense as well. A tram system in peshawar would be an invitation for disaster. A better solution would be a monorail. It is less costly to construct, compared to light rail or subways, or even an elevated bus track. The signal systems and rail carriages would require good sized investment though
