Salary & Govt. Concessions for a Member of NATIONAL ASSEMBLY (MNA)

Monthly Salary: Rs. 120,000 to 200,000
Expense for Constitution per month : Rs.100,000
Office expenditure per month : Rs.140,000
Traveling concession (Rs. 8 per km) : Rs.48,000 (For a visit to ISLAMABAD & return):
6000 km
Daily BETA during Assembly meets : Rs.500
Charge for 1st class (A/C) in train : Free (For any number of times all over
PAKISTAN )
Charge for Business Class in flights: Free for 40 trips / year (With wife or P.A.)
Rent for Govt. hostel any where: Free
Electricity costs at home: Free up to 50,000 units
Local phone call charge: Free up to 1, 70,000 calls
TOTAL expense for a MNA per year: Rs. 32,000,000
TOTAL expense for 5 years: Rs. 1,60,000,000
For 534 MNA, the expense for 5 years: Rs. 85 , 440,000,000 (more than 800 corers)

And they are elected by THE PEOPLE OF PAKISTAN, through a democratic process of this world, not intruded into the assembly on their own or by any qualification.

This is how all our tax money is been swallowed and price hike on our regular commodities. ..

Complete rubbish propaganda. Many CEO's of our Pakistani companies earn even more than this amount. Here you are saying an MNA earn 120,000 to 200,000 as salary, the CEO of my company earns 450,000 per month and benefits are seperate. Obviously you have been in Canada too long to know what the reality is in Pakistan. Stop making threads with one sided info...when you have more knowledge about Pakistan only then you should make such propaganda threads....

your CEO is getting that amount cause he is running a private company that's not a big deal when i use to work in Pakistan my company MD was earning 9,50,000.00 per month benefits are separate, but these so called MNA's are not running their companies they are servants of people of Pakistan people are sending these dick asses to assemblies to serve not to steel our money like they are doing.

I have noticed that you have a habit of rediculing each and every post that people commit here and which is against your likes. You need to stop this attitude. You must adopt an attitude that
1. You are not the owner of this forum
2. Every member has a right to post info as long as it does not violate the spirit of this forum.
3. You give us impression that you KNOW EVERYTHING. You also give impression that you closely work with govt officials and have inside knowledge.
4. You have absolutely no idea if there is any difference between an elected (or not elected) govt official and a CEO of a corporation.
5. If you like a post then appreciate it. If not, reply in a proper manner, or even better simply keep quiet.

I have also noticed how this site is filled with people who only like to complain and complain...and noting else....they are always critisizing the governemnt however Im sure most of them have never even voted in their life. Secondly I dont think i know enough but I do think I know more than alot of people. I have lived and worked in USA...lived and worked in Middle East...lived and worked in Europe and lived and worked in Pakistan...lastly I am surprised why it is surprising to know an MNA earns 120,000 to 200,000...although I doubt this figure...salaries increased greatly in the past 3-4 years and Pakistan is no longer the same as it was when you guys left it....Shahid Masood was earning 850,000 per MONTH in PTV (a governemtn post)
