agar salary saal ki 6 lac se 12 lac he to 6 lac se upper jitne honge uss pe 5 percent tax.
means maximum saal ka 30,000. yani mahine ka 2.5 hazar. buhat ziada he kya?
agar salary 12lac se ziada he aur 18 lac se kam he saal kee ( yaani 1 se 1.5 lac mahina)
to saal ka total tax 30,000 + 10 percent of the amount exceeding 12 lac. Yani maximum of 900000 per year or maximum of 7500 rupees per month.
isee terha jo maximum 25 lac kamate hen unka maximum tax saal ka 195000 banta he ya phir
16250 rupees per month.
non salaried people are going to pay a lot more.

Their salaries are in the 90% percentile...
Most countries with robust economies impose > 40% taxes on these rich individuals...
However, we always have IMF to bail us out!!!

Rs. 100,000/mon is still a very good salary and probably falls in the top 50th percentile...
Someone has to do the number crunching to figure out the financial impact of not taxing more than half our wage earners.

the primary goal should be to identify tax evadors who actually hide their incomes , most of the shop owners in the country do that and even the private clinics do that too. a system should be employed where earnings can no longer be hidden.
