You are partially right, What benazir did was not because of democracy, that is what our mindset is in Pak...Only NS has started this new approach in Pak where a business is run as a business and not as some ones "Fathers jageer" however this approach is not too popular...just in past government PPP hired over 10000 people that PMLn had laid off in their past government...

Governments must not be employment service, rather facilitators and they should create environment where people can do business and those businesses in return should hire people...PIA was one of the best airlines up to 8dees, but after that , it was a mess....lets hope this privatization of PMLn can happen so that PIA can be run as a semi private corporation so that it would make money rather giving away free seats to effing influentials...

my father worked for PIA 34 years. and I have a few PIA Memorabilia, from the Golden days.

What you see in the pictures, I have experienced first hand.

To tell you the truth, people blame PPP or what not...

the fact is simple. Punjabi as an organization killed every institute in Pakistan. YOu might not like what I say.. but think hard.

PIA like all all organization, was run by Muslims from India. they had the dynamics and the charm...

not to be found in local culture.

You're worrying about the money but don't care about NS lied in the assembly & in front of the media.

Our politicians are the most corrupt in the world. PIA used to be the world's best airlines in 60s but when so-called democratic governments started hiring on political basis, thing went wrong. It was PIA who helped emirates to start their business.
