Muslims in Mumbai [ Images ] are up in arms against a United States military sniffer dog allegedly with name tag of 'Khan' that has landed in the city as part of President Barack Obama [ Images ] security arrangements.
On Tuesday, the German Shepherd arrived in the Mumbai airport from a Hercules C130 transport plane. The German Shepherd allegedly had a tag around its neck which read 'MWD Khan.' MWD stands for Military Working Dog. Khan is alleged to be the name of the dog.
Angry Muslims in the city and the state are threatening to protest this 'insult' to the community.
The issue became a rage when a tabloid had reported the incident and quoted veteran actor Raza Murad objecting to the dog being named 'Khan.'
Though noted lyricist Javed Akhtar [ Images ] had been quoted to ignore the issue and focus on welcoming the VIP guest.
Maharashtra [ Images ] Samajwadi Party leader MLA Abu Asim Azmi also threatened to undertake a protest. He said that the US deliberately wants to incite the Muslims through such acts and the party would stage a protest on the issue.

Prominent Muslim religious heads have expressed anger and dismay on the information of a US dog being named 'Khan.' Maulana Syed Athar Ali said that it is a known fact that Muslims detest pigs and dogs.
"To name a dog a Muslim name by US security agencies is to deliberately incite the Muslim community. We would be meeting soon and devise a strategy to protest and seek apology from the US," said Maulana Athar Ali.

my appeal to pakhtun brothers in pakistan


lately i have been observing that indian movies and culture is even spreading in pakistani nwfp ,and even into kabul, secular pakhtoons think that india loves pakhtoons because so many indian actors are "khans".
no amount of preaching effects such pakhtoons as they are one head strong nation.(still they are better than other ethnicities of pakistan who are so much mixed into hindu culture that no difference between them and hindus is apparent now.so in good hope i am writing this appeal).
anyway.......
i hope the above incident has opened your eyes.my pakhtoon brothers!
allah has honoured you pakhtoons by selecting amongst you mujahideen for cause of islam,
so dont spoil this honour by loving or adopting hindus culture.hindus are your biggest enemies and they have still not forgotten your ancestors like ghaznavi and ghauri who who kicked hindus out and ruled over india.
whenever they will get chance to revenge they will take it on you,kufar never forget their enemies,its us muslims who have short term memory unfortunately.

so please have some honour and throw out people among you who are promoting hindu culture,before allah forgets you people also ,and leave you in your misguidedness ,like He has left most pakistanis at present...who dont get any guidance now nor their any prayers are accepted till death will take them to their eternal abode.in some pakistani areas if you apeak against hindu culture you are afraid that people will kill you,such is love of hindu culture here ,,,and this is not good.

one example is the latest revelations of soha khan the sister of saif ali khan who has praised salman rushdies work and has publically said that she loves sulman rushdies work so much that she will work with him .

I agree with Drkjke that India uses the "Khan" name to sell it's Bollywood filth to Muslim people however the good news is that many Pakistanis have abandoned Bollywood.As rightly observed India's fake Pathans are mostly married to Hindu men and women in the name of secularism where they worship falso idol's and also make their own Islamic laws in the name of tolerance.

Any Muslim who has basic Islamic knowledge can expose these hypocrites within minutes.
