Non performing Political parties should be annulled

There are hundreds of political parties on the Election Commission list but not on ground. These so called political parties have captured all prominent election symbols and serious Independent contestants are left with little choice in selecting symbols for themselves. The Election Commission should annul the registration of any political party which does not have at least one elected member in the National Assembly. This way rubbish which has become part and parcel of democracy will be reduced on one account at least.
