That's worrisome news. Before health experts were saying that patient will develop immunity after recovering from Covid19. But reality is opposite of that. Only Allah can help us. Ya Allah please forgive us and have mercy on us Aameen

Developed immunity against any virus spread deaseases takes generations.For many hounderers years old deaseases..We are still dying.. depend on medicines.. Vaccines..Still not naturily build anti bodies..How can within months..we confirm immunity against C virus??
It's will take time...We only pray that vaccines discovered soon...I think China will discover Vaccine first..as Chinese working on it..while west world..and Trump doing politics on C virus to win the next election... Trump don't bother if deaths in US touch in Million...but he wants to win election...

Having an Antibody response and developing Immunity are two divergent avenues.
Developing Immunity means that the disease will not affect you after first attack (the recurrence), like in Measles etc.
Antibody response means that the antibodies are there in your body and your body is capable of producing such antibodies which can fight COVID-19 virus in case of an attack.
Human bodies are still not capable of developing immunity against an age old disease of Influenza, therefore I am not surprised to learn that for COVID-19, the same thing is there.
But does that mean an antibody cannot be derived from the serum of the recovered patients, is a debatable issue. Need more clarity on this, please, razaq100

This means the virus has v.variable effects on different tissues and cells hence there is variable cytochemical release with resultant variable effects on ummune system.
Its weired some of these patients had strong whilst other no IgG/M response

Seems like the pts who have recovered was purely due to cellular immunity only.

people who have virus but no symptoms means either the virus strain they have is not very virulen( nasty) or those people have strong cellular immunity- ( remember immunity is of 2 types, 1-cellular means we have certain cells that can kill the virus
and
2- humoral, that means as result of infection our body produces proteins called antibodies, some help kills the virus soon after infections and other antibodies stay in blood for long time to prevent reinfection.
it was the 2nd type ( antibodies) immunity we were hoping to develop after the viral infection but in some pts that hasnt happened as per above reports, hence the worry.

To sum up..There are a lots questions to be answers.. more deep study needed to tackle C virus..What I see..there different analyses.. treatment ..precautions spread all over the world..nothing conclusive...Only washing your hands regularly..wear masks..do social distance.. testing..stay home..that's all things confirmed only..
