also remember LG Elections in Punjab are non party based and that meeting was about action against that

I have commented several times that there is no alliance just a common strategy to counter Noora rigging and force Noora for party based LG elections.

It is established from this press release that there is a alliance with PPP...."That is the only issue-specific alliance PTI has formed in Punjab"" ....if others do to bring on common point of interest then they are blamed of becoming similar to the other parties .....then why not same principle can't be applied here...??? Imran Khan used to claim that he will never do any alliance or negotiations with political parties who have been the part of Govt or enjoyed Govt in past......!!!

PTI Central Information Secretary Shireen Mazari today categorically denied any PTI alliance in Punjab with PPP. She clarified that the meeting held in Lahore between PTI, PPP and JI leaders at Mian Manzoor Wattoo's residence and reported in some sections of the media, was not to create an overall political opposition alliance but simply to ally together on a one-point agenda to oppose the Punjab LG Bill which is against all democratic norms. All opposition forces in Punjab oppose this Bill, Dr Mazari explained, and that is why all these forces are allying together to challenge this Bill which reflects a reversal to military dictatorship models of the past.

That is the only issue-specific alliance PTI has formed in Punjab. It is unfortunate the media has given a completely erroneous twist to the same.

Now i am waiting for my PTI friend who was very upset yesterday.My support for PTI is unconditional and i don't care what they do so for as there is no corruption and rule of law is upheld.Once PTI gain PMLN type mandate but not fake though genuine then will demand PTI to don't compromise on even a comma of their manifesto till then i will always give PTI the benefit of the doubt for whatever small compromise they make for their bigger goals in politics
