1. they may still believe that masjid is a place of Allah and they may be blessed -
2. there is a tradition in christian celebrities that they try to get marry in church / cathedral

Many people will get mad looking all these women in masjid and celebrating this wedding.

Their problem is they want to see women as submissive robots who do khana pakana and jharo pocha and then lock themselves in a locker and then only dress up for their husbands in night.
Any well dressed, happy women enjoying and celebrating make them angry.

what is unislamic about the marriage pictures shown in badshahi masjid?
you see dulhan sitting in a secluded area in a masjid with her family and dulha with his family and they sign papers and then walk back to car and go home and during the process they committed the very unislamic crime of laughing, enjoying and good times.
really dont see anything unislamic.

desi islamic shadi is, soog kaa mahool hoo. dulhan aik sandooq mein bandd hoo. hansnay ganay pay pabandee hoo. 6 se zyada log naa hoon. nikah hotay hee mian biwi ko ghar bhaij dia jaey. kahani khatam.

Bhai sahab, the hijazi weddings that used to happen at the time of prophet dont apply here. People at that time used to marry a lot. sahaba kee tadad-e-azwaaj bata doon tou aapka surr ghoom jaey gaa. For them it was special, but not that special event as in our culture here.

Thats my point. Masjid pay sirf momineen kaa ijara nahi hai. All people can come to allah's house. aur aanay janay mein thori ghalti hojaey then still pardon them for allah kay liyay. dont be angry and offended and mad.

our behavior towards others should be of love and compassion and forgiveness, not of self-proclaimed inspector general appointed by allah mian.
kuch cheezein allah mian kay liyay bhi chor dein.
