New Zealand PM John Key resigns Saying 'Ten years at the top is a long time'

Auckland, New Zealand (CNN)New Zealand Prime Minister John Key has resigned, in a move that shocked many observers.

Key had been in power since 2008, and leader of the ruling National Party since 2006.
"Ten years at the top is a long time," he told reporters in Wellington on Monday, adding that he owed it to his family to step aside.
"A lot of leaders stay at the top too long."

I live in new zealand and its not even a big news here, because the individuals are not important in true democracy but systems that deliver regardless of top leadership.

In comparison with pakistan, it's not big. just imagine, One fine morning you get to know that nawaz sharif has resigned, how big that would be. Can you compare it wit that?

All the above intellectuals who LIVE in NZ lalamusa have no idea what they are talking about. NONE of you has mentioned why he resigned, has he resigned on some principal? are you trying to set an example? I know this guy in person from an investment sector link and he has so much in similar to MNS and Ishaq Dar when it comes to economics. The edyats above who apparently live in NZ have no clue on what they are talking about, maybe reached NZ through some boat or through black money stoled from govt jobs and invested there, lolz tonic head tsunamis

زندگی میں بڑے بڑے بے شرم دیکھے مگر جو کمال ڈھٹائی اور بے شرمی کا بیرون ملک پاکستانیوں نے پایا ہے شاید ہی کسی اور نے پایا ہو
