New provinces in Punjab: Zardari sends reference to Fehmida

Islamabad: President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday has sent a reference to Speaker National Assembly Fehmida Mirza regarding the formation of a commission in order to form two new provinces in the Pakistans biggest province Punjab.In a statement issued by Presidential Spokesman Farhat Ullah Babar, the reference was sent by Asif Zardari to Fehmida Mirza in order to form a commission which would gave its suggestion for the constitutional amendments regarding the formation of two new provinces, Seraiki and Bahawalpur, in Punjab. The commission would consist of six senators, six Parliamentarians of National Assembly and two members of Punjab Assembly, it said adding that the Commission would complete its report within one month.It is to be mention here that Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani earlier indicated that the slogan for the formation of Seraiki province in Punjab was not a campaign for elections and it would be formed before elections.

yes you said the truth.if seraikistan is created the zerdari and gaylaani mafia and there sons will rule here till eternity.no area is more jaahil than our area in whole world.
even last time seraiki belt voted blindly for zerdari and his pakistan breaking gang.

also by breaking punjab zerdari will take revenge from punjab for not voting for him.
also by breaking punjab he will start civil war here(seraiki nationalists want sergodha khushab mianwali and dera ismail khan in seraikistan also) and that will ultimately result in breaking of pakistan (believe me this is real scenerio) though pti like short sighted people dont see it now

when floods hit sindh last year due to heavy rains the charsi chief minsiter of sindh claimed in a speech that "punjab" caused this flood on sindhi people.
i have never seen so much prejudices and intentional efforts by a government to break pakistan like in present government.
zulfikar mirza was right when he said that mqm and some elements of ppp have decided to break pakistan on CIA and mossad demands

Absolutely spot on bro!! Unfortunately Punjab is a wepon that is often used to get votes in Sindh. Muhajirs use this card to get votes from Urdu speaking people by saying that we collect all taxes but it is all spent on Punjab and similarly Sindhis are told that Punjab wants to steal all our resources. Obviously Punjabis are EVIL in Pakistan and rest are all angels. If Punjanb steals all resources from Balochistan, KPK, Sindh etc then it should already be Paris right? This mindset is so dangerous that it can easily break our country even further.

Thank GOD there are no Punjabi nationalists otherwise people will not statements like "Sindh should not be broken even if we have to break Punjab in many pieces" will create havoc. Imagine if a Punjabi said that "Sindh k jitnay marzi tukray ho jayein, punjab nahi tootnay dengay".

Why the hell do we need more provinces based on ethnic lines? I don't mind even making 10 more provinces inside Punjab if it is done on adminstrative basis if it improves lives of average people but who will tell this to shameful politicians.
