I am not shocked at all.
All of us are in agreement that massive corruption has been taking place for last 30-35 years. Again we all have seen how the fortunes of people like Asif Ali Zardari , Nawaz Sharif, Yusuf Raza Gilani, Altaf Hussain, Asfand Yar Wali and their cronies have changed in short span of time. There is no doubt that these are all corrupt and murderers.
That said, in my opinion persons like Aitezah Ehsan, Farooq Naek, Farrugh Saleem, Justice Tariq, S.M Zafar, Wasim Sajjad etc are the real culprits. These people are projected as huge icons on the media in every talk show but the fact is that these are the very people who spent their lives protecting the thieves and murderers listed above. These so called eminent lawyers have won cases protecting steel mills criminals, effedrine, NICL etc but you will not find a single case where anyone of these lawyers have won a case to put a big fish behind the bars. In return these people get huge sump of money (CNG stations etc.). Not only they grab huge some of money from the corrupt leaders to fight their cases but also they get projection for being the highest tax payers in the country and not to forget get quotas of things like CNG.
These people not only saves the thieves, dacoits and murderers but also become prominent by paying highest taxes from the ill-gotten money that they receive as fee from the ones who plundered the country.
I wonder why Fakhruddin G Ibrahim is projected as an upright person while he is the one who asked the supreme court not to take any harsh action in Steel Mills case as it would result in shying away of Foreign investment instead of asking the SC to punish the culprits to max.

Absolutely agreed.
It is the professional accountants and lawyers 'employed' by these political parties, who are the actual enablers. Guys like Aitezaz Ahsan, Farooq Naek, Ishaq Dar, Khosa. They should be arrested and given the 3rd degree. Then we will see how many names these guys spit out. Ishaq Dar already confessed to his crimes, only to conveniently take a u turn on them on the pretext of being coerced.
