*ISLAMABAD - The Islamabad High Court reserved its verdict on Monday on the appeal of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (retd) Safdar against the Avenfield reference conviction.*

Justice Athar Minallah said they will prepare a proper order in the case.


An anti-corruption court sentenced the trio in one of the three references against them – Avenfield.

The former PM was awarded 10 years in jail and his daughter was awarded seven. Maryam’s husband, Captain (retd) Safdar was also handed a one-year sentence in the case.

There has been 35 years of pmln and ppp mukh maka and ppp lost there votes to pti in Punjab and pmln have lost to pti central they couldn’t do any thing they lost.
If all the musharaf group is in pmln then it’s ok but if they go to pti then they no good. Why double standards ?

I don't understand how a person after being convicted and jailed can get bail ? Bail is for people who are before the conviction and sentencing stage. If this law exists, then this loop hole should be closed because it makes no sense at all.
