Islamabad (Online) - Speaker of the National Assembly Asad Qaiser has announced to donate his first salary to help finance the construction of dams in the country.In a tweet, the PTI leader appealed to all citizens to make contributions to the dams’ fund to “save the future of their children.”
Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and members of his cabinet announced to donate one-month salary to the Prime Minister and Chief Justice Dam Fund.
Chairing a meeting of the Punjab cabinet, Mr Buzdar said dams are need of the hour and Prime Minister Imran Khan made a popular decision and the Punjab government endorsed it.
