LAHORE (Dunya News) – Accoriding to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), more than 3,35,000 ballots were printed under army’s watch for NA-120 by-polls, reported Dunya News.
Moreover, seven monitoring teams comprising of federal and provincial department officials were also made. According to the ECP notification, these ballots will be handed over to the District Returning Officer (DRO) on September 14 in the supervision of Army.
While election material and ballot papers will be handed over to the presiding officers on September 16. According to ECP, seven monitoring committees consisting of 20 officers will start their official duties from Saturday evening.
Cameras and cars were handed over to the monitoring teams. Monitoring teams will report to the returning officer, provincial election commissioner and central office in case any violation of ECP’s code of conduct.
