My Open Letter to Imran Khan and PTI's founding leadership

Dear Imran Khan, Shireen Mazari, Arif Alvi;

Your demands for electoral reforms are right. Not today, but have been right since the first rigging took place in the history of Pakistani politics.

Your demand for CM's resignation based on rigging allegations may be right to some extent.

Your demand for PM's resignation based on similar allegations may also be right to some extent.

however, the point is, that there are a 100,000 correct demands that can be put forth given the present sad state of affairs that Pakistan today lies in. But there is a way to go about it. To correct wrong, you cannot just stand up and walk. You have to organize a group of people, discipline them, put them to repeated tests and keep them prepared to stand up for a cause. The training and discipline should be enough to convince them, in a situation like the present one, that if the Party leadership decides to concede and return, the group of people that you have brought, should not threaten the party's own leadership, instead they should follow suit and agree to recede. PTI emerged as a decent alternate option with its founder Imran Khan as a well-respected and honorable man. However, due to its wish of fast-tracking its success in elections, and a few forgone promises of unknown friends, it broke its own rules of offering membership to people by bringing in lotas like Javed Hashmi (ex Jamiat ex PML N), Gaddee Nasheen like Shah Mehmood Qureshi, and corrupt bureaucrat like Parvez Khattak into its ranks. Then there were the differences of founding members over such additions in to the party, which led Dr. Shireen Mazari to leave PTI due to breaking of rules... but due to Imran Khan's requests, she did join back. Nevertheless, today, PTI has cornered itself out in a position where its own supporters are the only basic threat to the party's leadership, and the fear of losing their support and facing their wrath has forced Imran Khan to lose his temperament and become rather stubborn over his demands; whereas the Government's ignorant behavior has forced him to taken a very stern stance against the PM to the extent that he has become rather personal and has made statements such as "one on one with Nawaz Sharif" as if he is going to wrestle with Nawaz Sharif while the PTI crowd cheers for him, and statements like "you all can leave, i'll stay here in my container"; "I will die here but not leave without PM's resignation" are statements that no man in his sanity would ever make. Especially a man who has spent 18 years in Politics and has been groomed and supported by the previously ignored youth and middle class of Pakistan. A man who until the 13th of Aug 2014 had the tendency to become a National leader, not just the leader of PTI. However, the path that you have chosen to become PM is incorrect by all means and the statements are not only shameful but rather outrageous, considering your decent back ground in Politics - and given the fact that you rule the Party that rules over an entire Province of Pakistan. If you had taken similar stance against NATO supplies or Drone attacks, you would have drawn much more support from the entire KPK province, than the negligible support you are getting in your calls for civil disobedience, storming into the red zone, entering the Parliament and PM houses and most of all, disregard of the entire Pakistani public who is being negatively affected due to the paralysis that the Capital city is facing.

My humble most honest request for you is to find a negotiable option, agree and leave without further tarnishing the great image of the once remarkable PTI, losing your unprecedented support in the most important province of KPK and most importantly ignore Tahir ul Qadri and his supporters and the fact that if you leave then TuQ or PAT will win over the hearts of people. TuQ is a foreign national, working on a foreign agenda, he will soon be arrested, put on ECL and his masters will soon be exposed. TuQ has nothing to lose, he just runs a foreign funded institution called Minhaj ul Quran whereas you have put PTI, its Government in KPK, its local and international image, the precious time and resources of your supporters and most of all your own health and life at stake, all for something that your greatest admirers, your staunch supporters and most trusted alliance members are against due to a simple principle called Constitution.

Time is passing by fast. Ignore the provocations, and ignore the threats by the crowd. Respectfully get out of the situation that has befallen PTI for the sake of Pakistan and PTI's future. Great men are usually self-less and are able to control their egos at testing times like these. I pray that you follow advise of some non-corrupt seniors, in their respect and in the larger interest of Pakistan as a whole, agree to disagree and return to KPK. KPK needs PTI and its central leadership now more than ever.

may ALLAH SWT show all of us the right path.

Pakistan Zindabad.

.............. from an ex-admirer and sympathizer of PTI.

this my dear friend, is because PTi right now has put itself in the quagmire of political suicide, due to wrong advises of party's own senior members like SMQ. Remember Javed Hashmi was so pissed off that he flew to Multan a day before the Azadi March had to begin? there were differences regarding this blunder before it occurred, but unfortunately sanity did not prevail and this madness cannot be undone, only a feasible solution should be agreed upon, and respectful settlement needs to be reached... to save PTI, Imran Khan and his intellectual leadership's face.

trust me, PML-N has nothing to lose. They will end up as Political martyrs at most, and will regroup and return, but PTI's crowd, supporters, sympathizers, because they are new to all this, will lose hope once again - and many of them will turn into long time rebels; whereas PTI will lose its vote bank in KPK; the province that I personally hail from.

If it's Qadri today, it'd someone else tomorrow. As long as masses have feelings of being neglected, they'll heed to anyone's call.
