Mr Shahbaz Shariff has claimed that all loans against Ittefaq Group of Companies were paid back in full on 23 December 2014. I would like ask MR Shariff how did they manage to pay back five billion twenty two crore and eighty lakh rupees on one go?
How, where and when did they earn so much profit to have repaid such huge loans to their bankers and creditors? Did they borrow such a huge amount from a Pakistani bank or an overseas bank but the big question mark is where did the money come from to back the outstanding loan on one stroke?
Can Ittefaq group of Companies produce their last five years financial and management accounts certified by reputable auditors verifying that the above loan was paid back in full through profit earned by the group?
If it were to be admitted that Nawaz Shariff and Shahbaz Shariff paid back such a huge loan through annual profits earned by their groups of companies: Did they pay direct and indirect taxes on their earnings and profits?
Is it legal that a Pakistani prime minister, chief minister and president can hold a government office with such an immense wealth and major being share holders of multi-billion dollars business enterprises? In a western and civilized democracy a cabinet minister, prime minister or the president can not hold a government office at he same time running a business empire.
