No body is dening all this ... even west accepts this today but .. then question is what happend to us later on if we put foundation stone of every major science and knowledge field ... ? and this is what hassan nisar is referencing to ... i went to Russia and saw with my own eyes a metro station built in 1887 ... now would you all tell me what we were busy with in that time ...??? if not with cock fights, pigeon keeping and poetry and mujras ... So hassan nisar's point is that we are enjoying every modern research and invention of the west yet we blame them for our down fall ... we claim that we have the best governance system and we name as kilafat but can we show to the modern world where that system is working ??? not even on KM of land is ruled under that divine system of governance and yet we abuse democracy ... we abuse interest base banking system but with 56 Muslim countries we failed to establish one true Islamic bank which can bare it expense leaving alone making any profit ... they invented the printing press and we put fatwa that foto is haram so too the printing ... yet we use printed cloths yet we use printers yet we enjoy audio visual facilities ... So the only point hassan is making that for god sack once an for all we must stop blaming others for our down fall ... if we wont do it we can never look for our lacking and until unless we never look for weaknesses in us we can never rectify them. we shout talent talent talent but we cannot produce even the power as mush we require ... we cant even recycle our garbage ... we import pampers for our kids ... yet we are proud i dont kow of what ... if iran achieves some thing we say its ours if some rules on spain we say we ruled if there was Khilafa as Mihaj in nabuwah pbuh .. we claim that was ours and yet we are ruled by gilanis and zardari's and husni mubariks and saddams and hafiz and bashar and fahads and abdullahs ......and on and on and on ...

we must stop blaming others for the mess in our own back yard as simple as that ...

The video maker still misses the point. Living in past glory will bring us no where. One should ask why we are falling downwards non stop after such golden time? Why others continue the good work and made use of all those discoveries to bring comfort for human races. Why not us?

I mean it's shame that we are even using WEST MADE DOCUMENTARY to delude ourselves that we are all set to rule the world just because of few discoveries done by few good people among us thousands of years ago. Pathetic attempt really.

Be original my people, would have done us wonders had we not indulged in useless infighting, laziness, religious groupings instead of carrying on the works we are so 'proud' of. It should be us making such documentaries, keeping track of knowledge, teaching it to our children - encouraging them to be like their ancestors. Alas all we are good at is pulling legs of someone who try to wake us from deep sleep.

That's indeed a powerful yet shameful slap not to Hassan Nisar but to us as a whole.

I almost agree with al of the above. the purpose of the video was to reveal that even west is approving the contribution of great muslim scientists. and here this man HN not only deny of every contribution but also shows disrespect towards AQ Khan nd Dr. Iqbal. I hate him when he do so.

بہت دنوں سے میں خود یہ سوچ رہا تھا کہ حسن نثار کی باتیں ضرورت سے زیادہ زہریلی ہوگئی ہیں جن کا جواب دینا ایک فرض اور قرض سے کم نہیں ہے۔ بہت بہت شکریہ کہ آپ نے اس زمہ داری کو نبھایا ورنہ تو لوگ پاگلوں کی طرح اس لان تان کی مشین کو سن سن کر اسلامی نظام حکومت اور امت کے تصور سے دور ہوگئے ہیں۔
اور آج کل جو حسن نثار کو عمران خان کی تعریفیں یاد آگئی ہیں تو لوگ یہ نہ بھولیں کہ یہی معصوف الطاف بھائی کی بھی بڑی تعریفیں کرتے تھے۔ اب الطاف بھائی کی دکان تو پنجاب میں لوگوں نے بند کروا دی تب جاکر حسن نثار کو خیال آیا کہ عمران خان بھی ایک متبادل ہے۔ ورنہ تو حسن نثار صاحب پوری قوت سے الطاف کو سپورٹ کر رہے تھے۔ اور ابھی بھی یہ الطاف کو عمران خان کے مقابلے کا لیڈر سمجھتے ہیں۔
صرف اچھے کو اچھا کہہ دینا ہی کافی نہیں جب تکہ برے کو برا نہ کہا جائے۔

Almost all of the great scientists in Islamic world were condemned at some point of their life due to their tendencies for natural sciences (I am talking in historical perspective here). The reason is influence of Greek philosophy which traditionalists thought had no place in Islamic society. Thats why these scientists were mostly financed by wealthy people and kings and had no source of income once those people died unlike Madrassas which were funded by society at large. Some condemnation should be reserved for traditionalists as they are the main reason why Muslims lag in science today.

no its actually you who is missing the point ..
no one here claimed Muslims are achieving so much at this point of time .. but in past Muslims has ..
people like Hassan Nisar try to show that Muslims have always been the scums and never achieved anything .. you should hear some of his interviews on youtube ..
western documentary makes lot of sense too .. if this author would have listed only the names most of the people influenced by west like Hassan Nisar wouldn't have agreed to it ....

he personally lives in huge farm .. drives around in land cruiser .. abandoned first wife and children .. married 25 year younger TV actress .. hardly in senses during nights ... and with that mount criticize politicians .. I am not protecting any politician but at least he doesn't deserve to criticize any ...
