If more provinces mean prosperity, that why Afghanistan is war zone, it has over 30 provinces.

In Indian no Hindu majority province boundaries are ever disturbed or broken to create new province. District level provinces would be a better solution for Karachi n Sindh, so it can be divided into several districts for them for their administration, Pervaz Mushrrif had the right Idea. They must have some share in Sindh assembly, PPP should create a administrative post for deputy Chief minister for MQM or any other party who take second largest number of votes, Otherwise they are going to create a lot of trouble.

You are totally off base. India is a pre-dominantly Hindu country now. Majority muslim dominated parts of India became Pakistan. Leaving that aside you need to look at this.

Uttarakhand and Jharkhand states were separated not on religion but on creed and ethnicity. Read my previous comments, I already wrote one of conceptual policy was to reduce trouble spot (ant India or separatists or nationalists) are quarantine to smaller states so that extremism is curbed using dull military operation short of Martial Law. Special Anti Insurgency units of Indian Army are placed in such, states to take over soon police show little weakness. Mean use of Article 245 as in Pakistan with full might. Not as disgraced in RED ZONE Islamabad.

Separatist nationalist movement is still in going on with numerous bloodshed at times. No advantage of making them as separate state means this concept of new provinces is even failed in India. Only advantage that tribal zones and separatist areas are quarantined to smaller zones.
