Don't be judgmental bro. Keeping beard is Sunnah of Prophet SAW but not obligatory. Everyone has the freedom of choice & expression.

Almost 90% of Sikhs have beard & turban no matter which part of the world they live but no one complains about their looks and nor should they do.
The same is true about the Orthodox Jews etc.

You should rather condemn the discriminatory action of the airport authorities who questioned him because of his looks & appearance.
