Moderators!! Please explain the meaning of moderation

Please explain what is meant by moderation. As, I dont see it being done here. I see quite abusive language being used by some members about others but no action is being taken. I already brought it to your attention in a post. Please see the following threads.

In my opinion the honorable members of this forum seem to be educated and civilized and they should avoid the use of such abusive language but if they are not taking care of the civilized way of posting their comments then they should be blocked from writing any further thread.

If we find any abusive or objectionable post then we can click "Report Post" icon to get the moderator's attention to specific post and I personally noticed that moderators take prompt action if they are not away.

I agree, i have reported once or twice and action was taken immediately .

i just saw the posts u have mentioned, moderators need to wake up and ban such members . Totally unacceptable behavior.
