If you ever want to know the reality of what happened in East Pakistan.....

........then

go and talk to ordinary people on streets of Dhaka.

You will be surprised how much hate they still have us the Pakistanis.

Zulfiqar Bhuttu was in no position to have any significant impact on fall of Dhaka. Infact, he brought home more then 90,000 POWs which later resulted in his hanging including Imran Niazi's paternal grand uncle who also called himself a Tiger !

Yes he had impact and contribution, he opposed Awami Party in making govt, although they had majority. Bhutto had majority in 2 provinces and Mujeeb had in one province but had more seats overall. Both knew that division of Pakistan would be win-win situation for them. Army+Bhutto+Mujeeb+India, they were all responsible.
And about the credit of releasing POWs, India had to release them in any case, there wasn't really contribution of Bhutto. After WW2, nobody can keep POWs after the war is over.
