Granting MFN status to India has been postponed and left for the next government to take decision.


ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan has postponed the grant of the Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status to India.

According to the sources of Dunya News, the process of granting MFN status to India was underway and a clause was also included in the trade policy in this regard that was suspended in the final phase.

The source added that the decision was withdrawn after the adverse criticism by Pakistani industrialists, investors and traders.

The sources have further disclosed that the decision of granting MFN status to India has been left for the next government.

It should be cancelled not postponed. MFN status should naturally be given to China or perhaps even Turkey for that matter.

Their media is united and mostly don't come up with the negativity of their own country.. otherwise they are fighting with each other like hindu berhaman, marathi and patale. they don't like each other..

You are right. India must not be given a favoured nation status until they stop training the terrorists and using them to cause chaos and bombings in different areas Pakistan. They must first also stop providing arms to ttp, which btw should actually be called tti. They must stop butting into Pakistan's internal affairs.
