Maryam Nawaz sent father to jail for becoming prime minister, says Farrukh Habib.

FIASALABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Railways Mian Farrukh Habib on Thursday said Maryam Nawaz sent her father – Nawaz Sharif – to jail in order to become the prime minister of Pakistan.

Farrukh Habib bashed the opposition parties and said incarcerated former premier Nawaz Sharif did money laundering for his sons, and termed Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif as ‘missing.’

He maintained that Pakistan is rapidly making progress and the opposition wants to halt that. “The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) is moving towards improvement and exports are increasing. The corrupt elements damaged the country during the previous tenure,” he said.

While lashing out at Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), he said the person who cannot even speak proper Urdu wants to lead the country.
