Even if it was on Islamic banking it was still interest , In Pakistan the only difference b/w the Interest of an Islamic Bank and Normal Bank is that Islamic Banks recites Bismillah before taking Interest and Jazakallah after taking it . .

so if 8% is fixed for user and market rate changes then govt is not gonna pay 7% i hope they have calculated the amount govt will pay on subsidising and bad debts coz in the end this will come out of taxpayers money uncle nawaz is not gona pay it from his pocket
