Video of a man's lucky escape from an oncoming train has been released.
The incident, which took place in August, was caught on CCTV near Brisbane railway station.
In the footage, the 20-year-old man is seen ignoring a barrier and dashing across the tracks, narrowly escaping the train that was charging through at 37mph.
He was taken to hospital and fined 2,200 Australian dollars (1,293) in court.
Scott Emerson, Queensland state Transport Minister, issued a strict warning against the risky behaviour.
