No Doubt JI has chosen better candidates in Karachi than any other party, BUT saying he is better than IK and JI leading over any other party is a stupid taught.

JI karachi chapter is better organize and well reputed then PUNJAB and KPK chapter.

No one said that IK ranks lower than him. The fact is that IK running from Karachi is useless because he will forfeit this seat to his Islamabad or Lahore seat like what he did to Peshawar seat and then Karachites will be passed over to someone like Amir Liaquat.
A better option is to select one which will remain here forever.

Quality of candidates doesnt matter THAT much in our politics. For Karachiites what's important is the devolution of power to the local bodies and I dont see it happening in the coming elections as the status quo would be expected to remain the same. We still will probably have a PPP CM so doesnt really matter if JI or PTI grabs a few seats while MQM gets the main share of the cake from Karachi.

PPP first came to power in 1970 in Sindh and until the emergence of MQM, Karachi was a city of lights with ofcourse dissappointments and subnationalism. But this present MQM and PPP pair destroyed and looted Karachi.
Ayub Khan, Bhutto aur Zia ul Haq were not that loyal to Karachi but when you have enormous pressure from the elected representatives of JI in Karachi, they had to give circular railway, local govt system to Karachi. There is no free lunch in the world, every province fights for its rights. If they have able and commited representatives, they will carve out solution for their problems.
This trend of crying only doing nothing is MQMs trademark.

Local body is present in Karachi but it is toothless, gone are the days of Naimatullah Khan when they actually have the funds and authority.

There's indeed no free lunch in the world, but things wont change not at least after this election and that was my point.
