ISLAMABAD: Arsalan Iftikhar, son of Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry, submitted his statement over the suo motu notice on allegations against him in the Supreme Court on Saturday, DawnNews reported.

The suo motu notice had been taken on Tuesday on allegations that Arsalan had been doled out Rs300 to 400 million by property tycoon Malik Riaz

In his five-page-long written statement submitted today, Arsalan has denied having any association with Riaz, Riaz’s daughter and son-in-law.

The statement said that Arsalan had never met with the aforementioned individuals in any business-related capacity.

It moreover said that statements attributed to Riaz were contradictory.

In his statement, Arsalan moreover said that for his contradictory statements and for attempting to bring the institution of judiciary into disrepute, legal action should be taken against Riaz and that he should be punished accordingly.

It further said that statements given by television anchors were mainly based on hearsay and that until Riaz himself recorded a statement in court, no allegations would hold meaning.

He requested the court to reject the anchor persons’ statements on the issue and said the statements were based on memory and therefore held no legal significance.

He further said that he had travelled to London in the years 2009, 2010 and 2011 using his own finances.

But he says that he was blackmailed by Arsalan. In his statement that Arsalan submitted he had rejected any links with Malik Riaz's son in law which makes Malik's case of blackmailing more stronger. If Arsalan wasn't blackmailing then he could've simply said that he was lured into it by Malik's son-in-law

Aitzaz Ahsan had warned Iftikhar months ago about his son's wrongdoings but he turned a blind eye, why ?

How can you convict Arsalan based on the documents given by MR who has lied about the amount of money so far?
MR has not submitted any proof just some unverified documents, isn't it obvious that you have an interest here?
Money was paid by son-in-law of MR who is not blaming any one and there is no FIR for fraud or balckmail by him or any one else, MR has nothing to do with Behria town and yet he is the one making all these allegations on behalf of his son-in-law or on behalf of PPP?

If you had paid attention to what Aitazaz said was, I warned him about the hear say against his son,but I did not give him any proof. More over CJ asked Aitazaz to talk to Arsalan but Chaudhary Aitazaz declined, why did Chaudhary Aitazaz decline? because he had no proof of any thing!

Malik Riaz was being black mailed, what information did Arsalan have against MR which could be used as black mail? That is yet unknown, how strange! MR is trying to protect his interests and son and he is using every trick he as learned of arm twisting and bribing. As simple as that.

This is case of entrapment it is possible they lure arsalan iftikhar to a business and then connect all these links to his business and simulate a situation in which he may believe that his business is thriving but actually money was being pumped by conspirators.Interestingly these expenses are including Ahmed khalil ,and Mrs ahmed khalil so someone can ask these two other chapshow they paid their expenses on other hand it is common if some one travelling in a group only one person pay and other contribute separately mostly by mutual understanding .In this situation middle man ahmed khalil role is clear he was acting as an instrumental tool in all this drama . One more interesting fact in these photos is that Arsalan Ifthikar chaudhry surname "chaudhry" is spelled as chaudhary which is different from his passport and we all know how spelling are important in booking of airline tickets.

Why didn't he investigate Arsalan there and then to nip the evil in the bud. This could have stopped Malik Riaz from doing what he is doing now

I'm not the accuser but yes these can be verified easily. The investigators of the case will also not convict Arsalan before verifying them, its just an e-mail, phone call and a personal visit away ;)

The spelling doesn't make a big matter, it depends on who has typed the itirenaries. His International driving license has the same spelling though....
