The man sentenced to death last week for the 2009 Fort Hood shooting rampage has been forcibly shaved, a US Army spokesman has said.
Maj Nidal Hasan, 42, grew a beard in accordance with his Muslim faith in the years following the attack which killed 13 soldiers and wounded 32 others.
The military death row inmate's facial hair was found during his court martial to violate strict Army grooming rules.
The army spokesman did not say when Maj Hasan was shaved.
Maj Hasan, now at the US Detention Barracks at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, claimed he opened fire at the Texas army base to protect Taliban insurgents from US troops who were about to deploy to Afghanistan.

As far as I am concerned when you commit murder, have your day in court, admit guilt and are found guilty, sentenced to death - You forfeit everything, even to be treated like a human. Slave or Master thing becomes irrelevant. You are a condemned man. Nobody in their right mind can give 2 Paisa about his rights. Dunno why you are feeling the pain about it.

He killed people in a cowardly way. If he wanted to really fight like a Mujahid then he should have left the U.S. and joined the people fighting against the U.S. army.

this is not a cowardly way... the best way is that in which the enemy faces more harm.. if someone is in enemies ranks, then best way is that which was followed by hasan.

i have heard some incidents that Nabipbuh endorse this tactic...

i have read an incident that during a war a man came to Rasoolpbuh ....

he accepted islaam and wished to join the holy mujaahidin...

Nabipbuh ordered him to go into rank of enemies and to harm enemies from inside....
