Oh c'mon the actual contest on this seat was between two sects. One Deobandi headed by JUIF and on the other side were Kundis & Makhdum of DI Khan combined. Anybody who thinks this is a PTI victory is actually fooling himself. This was a battle betwen two sects which has been waging for last few decades.

Yeah yeah......and all of a sudden, after 50 years, the anti-JUI sect got victory, and the fact that the winner was from PTI had nothing to do with it? Its true that the PPP candidate withdrew in favor of PTI candidate, but regardless of party decisions, voters dont always follow party lines. In many cases, if a party chooses to support another party, mostly their voters will stay home rather than vote for the other party.
In this case, PTI won fair and square, and it is a testament to the fact that 1) PTI is doing something right in KPK, and 2) Fazlurrehman has failed to shape public opinion in his favor through his silly yahoodi agent rhetoric.

Both Kundis are cousins and have their own vote bank. PTI has failed to deliver and NA 1 result is a classic example. JUIF's vote bank has decreased. In General elections JUIF got more votes on this seat. PTI doesn't even have more than a thousand votes of its own on this seat. In 2008 Faisal Kundi got 82,000 votes on the PPP ticket on NA 26 as Dawar Kundi was supporting him but in 2013 general elections their vote bank got split because they stood from different parties. Combined approach on NA 25 and a receeding JUIF vote bank has won them the day.

Were u part of this protest, LOL???DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Local leaders and workers of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) staged a protest against the Deputy Speaker of National Assembly Faisal Karim Kundi on Sunday. The protesters had wrapped shrouds around themselves and continued to chant slogans against the PPP leader. Protesters alleged that Kundi as well as his elder brother, Ahmad Kundi, were involved in corruption in the development funds allotted to D I Khan.
“Kundi should immediately resign from the post of divisional president of the party,” said Saeed Akhtar, a local PPP leader, while addressing the crowds. “The Supreme Court should take notice of Kundi’s corruption,” he added.

Lolz this is a one and a half year old news which turned out to be a fudge. I support Faisal Kundi and he has proven himself to be a sober politician. BTW in the coming days I suspect PTI burgers protesting against Dawar Kundi. Write down my words.

BTW I've heard about the muk muka between PTI & Nawaz league in PP 240 by elections to be held on 7th October. PTI candidate is supporting the Nawaz league candidate lol.
