Usman Shinwari is overrated. I've seen him play and he hasn't impressed me at all. Having watched the likes of Wasim, Waqar, Aaqib, Akther, Razzaq, one can tell how much of a bowler an individual is in his first spell.

Thanks to archived footage yes I have and that's why I mentioned first spells. Amir can deliver in almost any type of conditions while this guy looked toothless in the few matches that he played. If he turns out to be as good as Aamir that can only be great for Pakistan I am not saying that but its also unfair to compare him with Aamir.

He did very good in the domestic games but was not impressive when he played against SL in Dubai, back in 2013 on his debut series.

Guess, he just needs a bit more exposure before he will get another opportunity.

I agree with that. Hee needs proper coaching from Waseem Akram and Waqar types. I noticed he was able to swing the ball in the air. This is something not seen lately except Amir.

yes you are right speed wasn't that much but the amount of swing he was delivering..... its simply unplayable even class of misbah couldn't handle it, this spell reminds you of the anwar ali under 19 world cup spell...

question is can he sustain such kind wild swing or was it once a blue moon, if he can then he can be deadly......

He could do it in this overcast condition but when played in normal sunny conditions, he was hit every where by every one. I think Misbah gave him a chance and he failed very badly and this chance was given to him exactly after this performance which is shown in this video. He played two T20 matches against SL , bowled 5 overs and got hit for 61 runs for no wicket.

Excellent bowling. But one match cannot prove anything. He needs to be consistent and then i am sure there is no doubt he will be in Pakistan team.

exaggerated movement across the right handers but no inward movement. no future if both movements are not developed.
