When head of the parties are not educated and intellectuals, then next parliament will be the same because degree issue has been removed. No education is required for member of parliament. Pakistan is the only country which does not require educated politicians while doctors, engineers, teachers, and bureaucrats have to be degree holders. What a sad scenario protected by politicians. Kick them out in elections.

I lived in Europe and US for last 40 years. People are caught in Tax theft but it is never a news, but if a public office holder fail to pay a tax of just for some hundred dollars, than it is big news in media and that person has to pay, and has to resign from public office also.

Could you believe these parliamentarians/Legislators does not know the significance of filing tax returns.
They can talk 24 hours on other issues but play dumb when it comes to tax.

Further, mediators does not know the implications of non filing of tax returns. Talat Hussain did not prepare for this program. Every one is so dumb in this program.

There may be other sources of income of these parliamentarians. You can only find out once you file your tax returns.
Tax Rules are more or less in most of the part of world.Here are the Canadian Tax regulation for non-filing of tax return. Talat Hussain shame on you for such a poor show.
Deadline for Filing Your Canadian Income Taxes

The deadline for filing your Canadian income taxes is midnight April 30.
Penalty for Filing Your Income Taxes Late

If you owe Canadian income tax and file your Canadian income tax return after the deadline, the CRA will charge a penalty of

• five percent of the balance owing and
• one percent of the balance owing for each full month that your return is late, to a maximum of 12 months.

If you were charged a late-filing penalty in one of the previous three years and are late filing your income taxes again, the CRA will charge a penalty of

• ten percent of the balance owing for the current year and
• two percent of the balance owing for each full month that your current income tax return is late, to a maximum of 20 months.

Interest Charges for Filing Your Income Taxes Late

In addition to the penalty for filing your Canadian income taxes late, the CRA will also charge compound daily interest

• on any unpaid amounts owing for 2012, starting May 1, 2013 and
• on any penalties charged, starting the day after your return is due.

The interest rates charged can change every three months.

People invest in National Saving centers, Capital Markets, Businesses , agriculture , Property , rent from property.

These are couple examples of income from other sources for a salaried individual. Tax payers has to include all sources of income in his/her tax returns. Tax deduction at source does not mean full and final settlement of tax.

Being a legislators , they all know " HERA MANDI " Culture but don't know Tax Culture. They are big mouth on all other issues. Every one is playing dumb here. They are very sharp MF but getting away saying, we don't have tax culture in Pakistan.


PTI representation is at worst. This guys should have prepared before coming to this program. Talat Hussain and PTI screwed such a great topic.
