I tell you, in the UK bail as such is not a big deal, it is arranged for almost every accused. It is better for the country to let these guys out living on their own expenses instead them locked up in a police station cell. Cells are there for temporary custody, before they are charged and then bailed. If not charged, you are released.
But with it comes the restrictions of movement. IT is normal to ask them not to leave the city, let alone the country.
To notify your local police station about your movement if you want to visit another city etc. Regular signing on in a register at the local police station. In some cases on daily basis.
Stay orders on the other hands are only given in rare cases. In such cases the applicant have to prove their case why stay order would be necessary or if any legal wrong is done to correct it or halt it for some period.
Difference in Pakistan is bail is given before someone is charged. Then the suspects are allowed to leave the country on a plane offered by none other than PM of the country.
Where are we going!!!
