Lal Masjid Fatwa signed by 500 Ulema of Pakistan on First Wana operation

Col(Retd) Mehmood-ul-Hasan asked the lal masjid about this operation's shari hasiyat and it resulted in this fatwa which changed the course of war in Pakistan completely. I thought i should share it with the readers of this forum .

What have these maulviees done for Pakistan in the last 65 years? Nothing except giving fatwa's.
They are the same maulvees who protected terrorists in Lal Masjid and killed so many innocent lives.

These people have exploited religion since before Pakistan and they are doing it still.

I did not knew, we have "Mufti" (greatest level of Islamic scholars), so commonly present around in our local mosques too. The real Muftis get "Shahdat" when they raise voice against this mess called as TTP.

Saudi clerics battle over various fatwas

RIYADH - Clerics have opened up a pitched battle in Saudi Arabia over who can issue fatwas, or religious edicts, as hardline and progressive religious scholars, judges and clerics have taken the fight public.

In his Friday sermon at Mecca's Grand Mosque, the influential Sheikh Abdul Rahman al-Sudais lashed out at what he labelled "fraudulent" fatwas, likening their originators to market vendors selling fake or spoiled goods.

The effect, he said, goes so far as to undermine the country's security.

Meanwhile, the country's grand mufti, Sheikh Abdulaziz al-Sheikh, warned of a crackdown.

"If a person comes out (with fatwas) and he is not qualified, we will stop him," he said, comparing such a person to a quack doctor allowed to treat patients."

admin hazrat i dont like aamir liaqat but i saw here one thread was deleted and reason was quote that aamir liaqat type of person not allowed exact wording i loss but how come person like muslimpak is allowed to post a thread against PAK ARMY? why this guy and other like him still not banned for life? it means something is fishy fishy.
