Lahore: Suicide car blast near Babu Sabu Interchange, 2 killed

At least 2 people were killed and 4 others sustained injuries in a suicide car bomb blast near the Babu Sabu Interchange in Lahore. Police cordoned of the area and started the search operation. According to initial reports, police tried to check a car near the Babu Sabu Interchange when the bomb was blown up. According to police, companion of the attacker fled the scene. Ambulances and rescue teams have reached the blast site and started the relief activities. The injured are being shifted to nearby hospitals.

Five policemen injured in Lahore check post blast

LAHORE: Five policemen have been injured in a bomb blast at police check post near Babu Sabu Interchange, Geo News reported Monday.

The blast took place when a white Suzuki Mehran rammed into the police check post, sources said.

Rescue teams have reached the blast site.

The injured police personnel have been rushed to nearby hospital.
