Inspector General Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhuwah (KPK) had revealed that the KPK police were given the permission to access the data of mobile phone calls.
Speaking to media representatives, IGP Nasir Khan Durrani said further legislation was required to tackle terrorism in the province.
He added that CCTV cameras would be installed in Peshawar and other parts of the province with the help of communities.
According to Durrani additional sniffer dogs would be used to find explosive material. The police chief added that foreign Jihadis were present in the province.
