KPK Jihaz Ban Act - Read Before Clapping and Propaganda

Propaganda is going on by Pasha Party mochi burgers about 'Dowry Ban Act in KPK', all those clapping do not know/understand Pathan or KPK traditions.

There is no concept of dowry in Pathan culture, will never find a brides family doing shopping for dowry in KPK, as in Punjab, Sindh or other parts of Pakistan.

In Pathan culture Bridegroom pay amount to bride's father for marriage. In simple language (sorry if few feel bad) women is bought. Have a chat with your Pathan friends and will find reality, consider most evil practice in Pathan culture.

Besides ban on dowry, ban should have been imposed on paying amount by bridegroom family to brides family too.

This culture another example is in world over, who do not find girl for marriage in family, use money to have marriage with a Pathan girl. This purchase may be in other creeds too, 4-5% but in Pathan culture is 95%. When girl is purchased, no concept of divorce or separation, very rare in Pathan culture. girl has to be killed or act as servant for whole life. She can not think of going back to his parents if his husband is cruel/evil man, as his father has received money against her.

Mochi Burgers see the reality, amend the act and add 'any bridegroom who pay amount to bride family is also banned.

Dear Hopeless Patwari

Here I am to speak on behalf of all Pakhtuns from KPK as well as Baluchistan and they will agree that there is no such custom in our culture to buy a bride. Yes there do exist some nomads/Gypsi in Kohistan(Swat) who take money to wed their daughters. That's a tiny part of Swat.

In Pakhtun culture, wedding costs are shared by both sides. Groom's side make jewelry and dresses for the bride and Bride's side make jahaiz. There is one thing more which rest of the Pakistan don't do is that groom has to give a piece of land/home/apartment or even a share in the house to bride. That's part of the MEHER.

Remember, they give it to BRIDE and not to bride's father.

You must have had the curtesy to confirm before puking out your racial bigotry against a whole ethnicity.

Groom paying money to brides family is a tradition of Turkey and many Arab countries too.
In all Arabs, the groom pays for wedding arrangements, bride's dress and the Jahiz.
In Turkey, the groom pays to the parents of the bride an amount which is asked by the bride's parents.

I m from KPK so nobody should tell me what our customs are.... hamaray haan jahaiz ka concept shaya aisa nahi hay jesay punjab ma hay , jahan aap log baqaida list detay ho larki walon ko k yeh cheez hamain chaiye . shadi ma larki walay zyada powerful hotay hain , larkay walay jewelry and dride dresses ka intezam kertay hain but aam tor per jewelry hi haq mehar hoti hay . jehaiz ki demand to nahi ki jati but kuch apnay aap ko baradari ma naak oonchi rakhnay k liye log koshish kertay hain k kisi doosray se kam na ho. but amooman khandan walay help kertay hain jahaiz bananay main. chacha mamon, khalu log apni taraf se gift ker detay hain. but even then yeh riwaj bhi khatam hona chaiye. or yeh qanoon aik acha step hay. albata 75000rs ki jo condition lagai haythat is practically impossible
