In karachi in 90s we used to see the moon. After some years, we used to decide when khan sahab had discharged his weapons in happiness after seeing something like chand.

I checked today, yesterday moon's illumination was just 0.1% even in Saudia! ? ? ? Meaning that 99.9% of it was dark and even with a strong telescope the moon would look like a speck of dot (or any distant star) for just 5 minutes since the difference between sunset and moonset was only 5min yesterday there! ???

You are correct it is 28hours old now but you are wrong about naked eye's ability to watch a 12hours old moon.

The world record for watching a moon with optical aid is: 11 hours 40 min old
And The world record for watching a moon with Naked eye is: 15 hours and 32 min old.

It's not only the age of the moon that matters for viewing but it's also the
a) difference between the sunset and moonset time allowing you to actually view it in the dark!
b) the clarity of the atmosphere where you are viewing it!

Pathanon naye tou chalo luch maari hi hamesha ki tarha but I learned that Saudis are Pathano se bhi 2 haat aagaye! Bas MBS ka dil kya ek aur roza nai rakhna and they announced eid today!

Not the 1st time they have announced a forced Eid and moon should be visible with the naked eye today in most of the world, lekin KPK mein aaj bhi sirf "under perfect conditions"

In our underdeveloped Districts there is no pollution and we manage to see the milky-way on a cloudless night. Probably most of Karachi and Lahore do not even know what is the milky-way. If you take percentage wise facts, a far higher percentage of Pathans fast compared to others.
