"Karachi should suffer":Khwaja Asif, PML-N solution for loadshedding in PUNJAB

On 23rd April , yesterday on a program NEWS Beat with Meher Bokhari, Khwaja Asif[PML-N] instead of telling Pakistan how they will reduce loadshedding, he shamefully admitted that Shahbaz Sharif only wanted Karachi to also SUFFER by reducing their quota by 300 MW which although will not end loadshedding in Punjab[the deficit electricity needed is 4500+ MW] but it will sooth Nawaz Sharif and his party that other 'PAKISTANIS SHOULD ALSO SUFFER'. The host asked him what they would do to address the DEBT problem between Power producers and WAPDA, or what is their plan to complete hydel and other projects planned[ and some already funded] by previous govt. or the REAL problem Tahir Basharat Cheema and his accomplices who are like CANCER to PEPCO will they discharge anyone? How will they CURE MISMANAGEMENT in WAPDA??
Khwaja Asif said that PML-N does not believe they are at fault and appealed to the AWAM[people] who are protesting 20 hours of loadshedding or electricity cuts to 'GET USED TO IT' and 'SACRIFICE' by doing less work. PML-N's spokesperson failed to answer how will they implement less use of electricity by govt. or closure of shops by 8pm.
PML-N HAS TURNED OUT TO BE A REAL ENEMY OF KARACHI, THEIR VISION AND THEIR NARROW MINDEDNESS SHOWS THEY DONT WANT TO ADDRESS PROBLEM JUST WANT TO BLAME OTHERS LIKE MQM[ONLY PARTY IN PAKISTAN RITE NOW WHO IS TRYING TO ADDRESS LOADSHEDDING], KARACHI SUFFERING FOR THEIR SAKE WILL NOT HELP PUNJAB IN ANYWAY BUT PML-N IN ORDER TO FACILITATE THE CORRUPT BUREAUCRACY OF THEIR PROVINCE, THEIR ONLY SOLUTION IS THAT KARACHI SHOULD SUFFER. THE INDUSTRIES IN KARACHI HAVE AVERAGE 70% SELF-GENERATION AND 25-30 % FROM KESC AND PEPCO, THE ONLY SUFFERER WILL BE BLUE COLLAR LIVING IN KARACHI WHO PAY THEIR BILLS ON TIME AND STILL GET EXPENSIVE AND REDUCED ELECTRICITY.

What is PML-N's PLAN, have they fired any corrupt WAPDA officials who are responsible for loadshedding? Did they pay out the debt that WAPDA and PEPCO owe IPPs[Independent private power producers]? How will they monitor and MANAGE 50% less use of electricity in govt. offices, PM House, CM house or Governor House?THE ANSWER IS NO, sorry, there answer is there is less loadshedding going on in Karachi they also should suffer.

If punjab get bankrupt then is it our problem???Isnt it bad Governance in Punjab so why should their be any blame on others???If Karachi is receiving from WAPDA then Karachi is also paying handsomely to Pakistan so if we start comparing that this would turn out to be big embarasment to Khuwaja Asif...Even the gas which is used in Punjab mostly comes from Sindh Qadirpur gas field and Sui Baluchistan so in terms of resources which Sindh especially Karachiite are sharing should also be considered as well...Its all about sharing so it should be all about sharing not grabbing or snatching....their is only 350MW electricity taken away from Karachi so just tell me that how much that 350MW able to facilitate whole Punjab????It would lighten up Minister's houses or posh areas in Punjab but do you think it would be enough to support Faisalabad, Gujranwala and Sialkot industries????that is the whole problem here that Khuaja Asif is saying that "Give us something from other's basket" instead of saying "We need more for us"....Now a days even Govt. has announced two days holiday in a week so did someone ever thought how much Financial activities would suffer in Karachi it would be worth million and if we take away 350MW in this condition then it could become more then millions...this is the problem which is why MQM have gave their voice for because Karachi is a earning place for 10 million people who came here to earn and then send the additional amount back to their homes to support their family so just assume what those millions of losses effects people are supporting their family outside karachi while earning in Karachi....

I am not PML-N voter but I do live in Punjab and its not racist to say that load shedding should be equally divided all around the Pakistan ..
I know people in Karachi saying they have only 3 hour load shedding while in Punjab load shedding is upto 10 hours (in major cities) ..

How can you 'equally divide' when the electricity needed in Punjab is 4500+ MW, the absurdity lies in NO ACTION by so-called democratic PML-N govt. against WAPDA officials and no announcing of projects to enhance capacity of electricity to reduce or finish loadshedding, Shahbaz Sharif and Khwaja Asif shamefully admitted that they only sat in wasteful conference just to take away 350 MW from Karachi and relief being provided by a political party in Karachi is going to make things difficult for him as Shahbaz Sharif LOVES PUNJAB'S BUREAUCRATS as Punjab people will also demand some relief from loadshedding. Khwaja Asif's comments were cruel and are devoid of understanding of hardships in rest of Pakistan, they were sinister as well as they wanted to cover their NON-PERFORMANCE in govt. for wasting 2.5 years of doing nothing.
Roti scheme is being PAID BY ACQUIRING DEBT which Punjab people will have to pay for in near future, this scheme is just throwing money to A PROBLEM, NOT FIXING IT. This tells you the Sharif govt. still wants to KEEP THE PROBLEM as they own few SUGAR MILLS also.

more then half of the population may live in Punjab, but all of them survive only when the Industry of Karachi operates. Karachi alone provide for more then 70% of the total revenue for Pakistan, if you block their electricity, the whole country will suffer, while if you shut whole of Punjab out, only dangars will ahve issues!!!!
