Karachi: Back to the previous Crime Rate

I believe everyone from Karachi will agree with me, the city is clearly getting back to where it was before the rangers operation in terms of crime rate.

You can hear more about murders, snatching, and similar crimes.

The murder of the high profile Qawal is again the proof that city is again unsafe for everyone.

Where are those stupid filths from PMLN who were trying to take credit of the short-lived decrease in crime rate? Now who will take credit of the increased crime rate?

This is what happens when you just depend on an operation instead of eliminating root causes, empowering institutions and depoliticizing law enforcement agencies, but again, the show runners are showbaz and same mentality.

These PML N goons will make sure to make this contry worst than African countries.

By the Way, Karachi is the top city in Asia with the highest crime rate.

Oh yes, central government has nothing to with this, they only take credit when things get better...

Piece of filths...

Things were going fine until army showed its typical punjabi mindset and started wheeling and dealing i.e. muk muka politics.
Mark my words, PPP, MQM and BNP will become even bigger monsters after this one side operation against non punjabis.

We need back weapon free , drug free Karachi.
eliminate all criminals, thugs, thief. no matter which party they belong to (MQM, PPP, ANP).
Announce publicly and cancel all weapon license immediately, take them back. after specific time if someone still owns a weapon kill them on spot. The only way to bring peace to this beautiful city.

Karachi is a perfect example of seeing and beleiveing that Army can do to a very certain extent and the rest lies on police and courts. With a dysfunctional system and police , a long term peace prospect will just be a dream.

Ayan Ali was not tried in a military court. There is an extent to whcih these courts can work.

All I am saying is that without proper police and other systems, these killings wont stop even if Army depolys its one soldier in every street

Typical ethnic hatred, with no roots what-so-ever. People of Karachi want Rangers to replace Police and often go to Rangers for help rather than the Police. This is a new campaign to malign Army and its institutions to prepare for Nawaz Sharif's visit in Pakistan.

truth stings. why no JIT on model town incident and chotu gang. just imagine if model town type incident happened in sindh or kpk. army would have been called to take over. yet we see army chief meeting shehnaz sharif every weekend.

Ethnicity is within your statement. Stop this non-sense about Urdu Speaking, Punjabi, Sindhi, and try to put Pakistan first.

Police force is filled with incompetent and filthy workers of political parties like PPP and Nora league. To get appointment as SHO of "lucrative" area sometimes you have to bribe in Crores of Rupees. These corrupt SHOs do what ever need to be done to get back their money invested. They would even organize armed robberies in their area.

Current police is so corrupt that the only solution is send all of them to fight war against terrorism in Waziristan areas.

The average retirement age in Army is about 45 years. A new police force must be developed which consists of retired Army officers and soldiers with good reputation. No "Safarish". Police should be an independent body reporting to President of Pakistan.

Pakistani police is so corrupt that revolutionary measures have to be taken.
