It’s general inflation which happens everywhere as population grows, but like your numbers show, people have the money and they can afford things, which means economy is doing good and it will lead to much better times, people have a lot of money and that’s why they are spending it,
People shouldn’t be expecting the 90’s prices for commodities while getting 2021 salary. A bank manager in the 90 used to get 10 thousand rupees a month, now it’s probably more than 1 lakh
