I think you need to understand the difference between liberalism and depravity.

What these people are doing is called empathy. It has nothing to do with being religious or secular. One can be religious and show human empathy at the same time e.g. Mother Teresa, Edhi Sahab etc.

Jews are defined by their race not their religion. There are many Jews in other secular areas of the world who are not all religious but are extremely prejudiced against Muslims and Christians just because they believe that they are superior to both of them.

What we mean by a very commonly used word "Liberal" in our society is people who are engaged in bigotry and debauchery.
