I myself is the biggest advocates of women equality rights but also believe in balance on both side
I think implementation of this law could led family life to disaster because in revenge a male could divorce his wife and if they have children this could damage the life of children and the whole family structure would collapse
There is a provision in Islam about JAMA'AH but unfortunately we don,t have impartiality and balance in the society and any alteration or amendment by force in shariat is direct interference in Islamic teaching of Allah and Rasool

It seems that this post is advocating not to ruffle the feathers of the one who is Zalim but takatvar aka husband. This is the general rule where people tend to go to the weak one and try to MAKE them understand how the zaalim is Dil ka bohat acha.
Now please keep in mind what Hazrat Abu Bakar said I will not rest until the weak among you is strong and the strong among you is weak. This is an announcement for balance.
The children suffer in any case and learn to be zaalim if they see their father being zaalim and mother not reacting.
This is a debate which has many facets, many complexities but this is a debate which has to start with sound reasoning and the sound reasoning will not give weak reasons which only prolong the problem. More over on the day of the Judgement when Allah will ask all those who could have helped what stopped them, I can not imagine how we will answer that.

There is a contradiction in this post. Amendement by force in shariat is direct interference?? What happened to stop the Booraee with your hands, if not, with your tongues and if not, in the least accept in your heart?
