Please do not use any disrespectful language for Abu Safyan (??? ???? ????).
Abu Sufyan (??? ???? ????) was a cousin of the Prophet pbuh. His father, al-Harith, was the brother of Abdullah; both were sons of Abd al-Muttalib. Abu Sufyan was also a foster-brother of the Prophet pbuh. He was for a short time nursed by the lady Halimah who looked after the young Muhammad pbuh in the tough and bracing atmosphere of the desert.
After the conquest of Mecca, Abu Sufyan (??? ???? ????) fought as one of Muhammad's lieutenants in the subsequent wars. During the Siege of Taif, he lost an eye. When Muhammed died in 632, Abu Sufyan was in charge of Najran (Abu Al-Abbas Ahmad Bin Jaber Al-Baladhuri, The people of the Islamic State (translated by Philip Khuri Hitti), p. 107).
He (??? ???? ????) was standing beside Prophet Muhammad pbuh during battle of Hunain:
Narrated Abu Ishaq: Somebody asked Al-Bar-a bin 'Azib, "Did you flee deserting Allah's Apostle during the battle of Hunain?" Al-Bara replied, "But Allah's Apostle did not flee. The people of the Tribe of Hawazin were good archers. When we met them, we attacked them, and they fled. When the Muslims started collecting the war booty, the pagans faced us with arrows, but Allah's Apostle did not flee. No doubt, I saw him on his white mule and Abu Sufyan was holding its reins and the Prophet was saying, 'I am the Prophet in truth: I am the son of 'Abdul Muttalib.' " (Sahih Bukhari; Book #52, Hadith #116)
Abu Sufyan (??? ???? ????) also fought in the Battle of Yarmouk in 636, in which he lost his second eye. He played a very important role in the war, being the naqeeb (chief of staff) of the Muslim army. He (??? ???? ????) fought under command of his son Yazid bin Abi Sufyan (Ibn al-Athir, Al-Kamil fi al-Tarikh). Abu Sufyan (??? ???? ????) died at the age of ninety in 650 at Medina. His kinsman Uthman Ibn Affan, who had become the third Caliph in 644, led the prayer over his grave.
There is so much confusion between right and wrong, who are these jahadis and fighting against who? USA funding the jahadis in Syria who are fighting against Assad. how can they be on a right path while getting weapons and funds from USA? Whereas Assad, a dictator who has a history of secret ties with Western forces. And getting direct support from Russia. Please enlighten me if you can. What you think is right? and why is right?
