yea rite media is supporting coz the killers are from PPP. if they were from MQM then things would have been completely different.

It is the fault of the courts and police to not be able to protect witnesses by witness protection program by which all witnesses who are threatened are given new identity and moved to another city,and not be able to convict the murderer by saying that there was no evidence than Judges use the term circumstantial evidence is overwhelming and using this evidence judges find criminal guilty. But Pakistani Judges are very clever, they put every thing on victims and enjoy there lives like lords.

This is a strange conduct on the part of the lawyer. A lawyer is supposed to reflect his client's wishes , if the client has offered to settle for blood money , the lawyer cannot take an independent stand in anglosaxon law atleast . A great problem in Pakistan is that now CJ wants this "blood money" option not to be on the cards, the lawyer community sets this as a target and may independently try to make a case against the blood money acceptance by presenting "evidence" of intimidations . One of the problem of being a lawyer esp in Pakistan is that one is forced by profession to loose sense of right and wrong , help anyone who pays be he a murderer or thief. The more experienced they are the more of their conscience they can loose. In the instant case if client has truly accepted "Blood money", it is no business of lawyer to manufacture a case on his own trying to help a CJ manufacture a case against reconciliation . This can remove a lawyer from Bar membership if lawyers would have standards of conduct.

I hope justice will prevail in this case ,coercion from jatoi family should not work at all in any way and SC must punish shah rukh jatoi for his criminal act and a lesson for others , might is right which is very common in pakistan. The way shah rukh jatoi made victory sign after getting death penalty in this case clearly shows how proud and "Takabbar " he is because of his family's wealth .He should't go unpunished, he took the life of an innocent and must pay the price .

[MENTION=56056]shaikh[/MENTION]: Tu idher bhe aagaya? The whole world is saying 'blood money' is not applicable to cases like this. You are the only one supporting it. This lawyer is doing a brave job here. I am proud of this lawyer and I am proud of our Chief Justice who is not ready to accept blood money. Blood money is haram if the family is forced into it by threatening them. We are Muslims and we should follow Islamic rules and should NOT accept blood money here.

We seriously need a witness protection program. In karachi 10,000 people died in last few years and only 0.001 was the conviction rate of criminals. Is this a joke or what? With such a poor performance, no one trusts the government and they all have to rely on the fire power of MQM instead, which is a failure of the system. Jungle ka qanoon. PMLn should immediately introduce laws like witness protection program, to increase conviction rates all over Pakistan specially karachi.

It seems the poster has no practical experience of judiciary in real life. In actual life the judiciary of Pakistan is the most primitive and underinvested field. Courts do not have even a proper timed appointment system and even supreme court has 19000 cases pending before it .There are no set fee structure for lawyers and even those without proper LLB routinely appear in courts as fake lawyers. Barristers qualified from abroad are laughed at by these local frogs of the old pond. This lawyer is a good example of malpractise , apparently his client wants reconciliation and here is he trying to manufacture a case for rejection of "Blood money" just because the CJ had taken interest in this case and apparently wants conviction to be upheld . Even though at the same time the same CJ has not taken suo moto against hangings on hold for several years by government lest Western NGOs do not become cross with him who oppose death penalty at all .
