If you read the letters between ghandi and this German Dude it is obvious their relationship was a bit twisted. Ghandi used to sign off his letters by saying "With Love", Man writing to man !! He also used phrases like

I feel like crying out to you ‘Do come and help me!’ Mrs,
Gandhi is again down with her swellings. She has lost all power of
resistance. She weeps like a child, is ever angry with me as if I was the
party responsible for her swellings. I am over head and ears in work.
This institution costs me much trouble. I wish I had the time to
describe to you the troubles I am passing through. I am not dejected
but I feel lonely. You know what I mean. Heaven knows what will
happen. There are so many sick people on the Farm. I want hours of

Dude who cares, Gandhi is dead and I for one certainly don't care if all Hindus turn Gay tomorrow - which is a possibility, the percentage of males is increasingly continuously in India due to selective abortion of female fetuses.

So Gandhi was bisexual? Interesting. I just thought there would be better proof than just this flimsy letter.

I mean to prove a person gay you need something more damning than just a letter. Some of my girl friends (not girlfriends mind you! :P ) talking would clearly give the impression that they were lesbians with all the love you, dear, your hair is so pretty and your nails look so good.

Otherwise its just our old Pakistani minds seeking to make an enemy out of Gandhi. Gandhi was a humanist and did great work for the people of the sub-continent. We should adore him for his accomplishments. True he stood against the partition up till a certain period but he was not necessarily an enemy of Pakistan or the Muslim people.
