Indian Air force Top secret file 'lost & found' by a Roadside

It is a shocking security breach of the Indian Air Force (IAF) that has come to light with a top secret file being lost and then found by a roadside in Delhi.

What is more shocking is that the file pertains to the biggest defence deal of India - of the 126 fighter planes that the IAF is buying, amounting to a whopping 42000 crore rupees. The file had details of the offset clause, essentially what the winning bidder is expected to invest in India. The company with the information would have an unfair advantage over other bidders.

The file was located by a private security guard who alerted the IAF. Questions are raised on the reason why file was taken out. Air Force has ordered a probe into the incident.

Sorry for the confusion. My second statement was more of a response to the replies(prior to mine) posted by some honorable guests. They linked the IAF lost files to India blaming ISI for mumbai attack. Their point didn't make sense to me just like mine didn't make sense to you.:P


Anyways, my point is :

For hukmarans and faujis, defense deals are means to satiate their disgusting appetite for dollars .I bet, they don't give a rat's ass to their nation's defense. India's 125 fighter craps and Pakistan's Agosta junkmarines will retire without firing a single shot at each other and will find their use only in pompous national day parades for next 25 years.Citizens of both these counties will watch these weapons and go bonkers ;then these morons will go to grocery stores and end up paying Rs 100 for 1 kg onion/sugar:angry_smile:. On the other hand brigadiers/generals will end up in 10 kanal kothis in one of the most posh locations of Delhi/Islamabad.

When I was working for a Pakistani Govt Dept, way back.. in my evening shift we ordered some Tea and Somosa's .. behold while we were having our somosa I noticed paper in which these somaso were brought was Pak Govt classified document.

When I was in my early twenties .... You know how Passport Dept is , almost for a week Passport officer had one objection after another. For each objection I had to go back, get some paper-work done take out zillion photcopies copies and then attest it, one endless loop... But after a long wait I got my passport, the devil in me kind of short out. The passport handed to me had every thing minus my photo. The officer was inside the building all locked up while I was free running around the building with guards after me. After a hefty chase, and a few verbal arguments. We became best friends. Till the time I was in Pakistan I never had any issue with the Passport Dept.
