Former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf tells Reuters that Pakistan's oversight of Osama Bin Laden's residence was a case of negligence.

Musharraf is 100% right and Afghan governments attitude is showing they are anti Pakistan and Pro India but the question is what are our options? Taliban are unacceptable to us because of their ideology and Karzai government is full of douchebags so what should we do?

Local Afgans never did like Pakistan. They always favored Indians. That's nothing new.

Best part is Ex-Top Army Boss saying he did not knew UBL status.... in return what I say is .... "Kuch toh Sharam Karo"
If Pak Army Intel is so poor they should shoot them selves in the head first.


Pak Army Generals and Top Brass should act like Grown Men ....take some responsibility of there failures ... if they feel that there performance is such, they should practice Seppuku.

Well, our policy this time should be to DO NOTHING . We tried to influence their internal affairs in the name of "strategic depth", We have to to make a 180 degree turn and let them sort out their own issues internally and on top of that offer development assistance so that one day they may forgive us for wrecking havoc by playing puppet master for over a decade. Our Army has induced in us some deep mental issues, They hyped up the Indian threat to the core of all our thought processes and paralyzed the whole country. It served their purpose to keep on sucking a major share of the national budget. Also not to mention the overbearing influence on the foreign policy. For the first time we have to leave behind the mind set of a country constantly at the brink of war and live like a civilized nation with relationships based on mutual respect.

I don't think the indian threat is hyped up and giving india a free hand in Afghanistan will obviously be bad for Pakistan. As you can see the pro indian afghan army is already causing problems. Today afghan forces entered our territory and killed 2 Pakistani tribesmen, imagine what they would do if they had complete control of Afghanistan.

I don't think the indian threat is hyped up and giving india a free hand in Afghanistan will obviously be bad for Pakistan. As you can see the pro indian afghan army is already causing problems. Today afghan forces entered our territory and killed 2 Pakistani tribesmen, imagine what they would do if they had complete control of Afghanistan.

Our establishment and ISI are no angels either. And I would say yes let them give complete control and freedom and see everything happening quickly and openly.Let's see if they can handle their country without NATO interference and keep on blaming ISI if even a minister in their ruling cabinet gets sick.Saudi Arabia has shown its true colours time and again and played a vital role in damaging the social fabric of both Pakistan and Afghanistan.

100% agree with Musharraf on this issue. India is actively engaged in undeclared war against Pakistan through TTP and USA. In reality, Pakistan is under attack from Afghanistan in the disguise of India and NATO whether someone believes or not. While PPP govt has given India "Most Favoured Nation" status which is the joke of century. India / Hindu has never been Muslim's friend since centuries and will never be. A snake can't be your friend whatever you offer to him. India is our enemy and will be our enemy forever and now it has switched to sit in the lap of USA after Russia. This is what Hindu mentality is all about.
Since USA is leading power, India has become a subordinate to it.The whole West is trying hard to erect India against China and Pakistan in order to have Indian dominant role in this region. India has narrow mentality and never accepts its neighbor and will never be an acceptable leading power in this region.

but Bin Laden was not a life or death issue for Pakistan. There are more important things for ISI to do then to find an old and frail person hiding in a house for half a decade.

Bharat and it's people never was or will be our friend which is why i am always aggressive to them on this site. Musharraf is only stating the obvious but with the USA/NATO defeated in Afghanistan, India finds itself on the wrong side of history.
