God I am missing Munawar Khan who used to give me looooong lectures on the Govt's foreign policies incapability, while dealing with India. And I used to tell him that there is noting namely "foreign policy" when you are dealing with India

quantitatively, maybe we are not even 20% of India (in terms of everything, Name it economy, oil reserves inland resources etc). In reality we are more developed in offensive warfare rather than defensive. And we always relied on our threat of being extremely offensive. However Statistically our offensive might will be finished in first 4 days of war.

And that is exactly why we have the Nukes! We cannot win a conventional war with India, we are out manned, out gunned and out budgeted by India, We might give them a tough time for a while but we cannot win a conventional war, no one has any doubts about that but its the Nuclear deterrent and a MAD policy ( Mutually Assured Destruction ) that has kept India at bay.

If you think so Just go back in history and see how they (Nato especially UK) destroyed Jamaal Abdul Nasir's mighty air-force right on their bases. And that happened just at the beginning of war. AND ALL OF THIS WAS DONE IN THE NAME OF KEEPING PEACE.

You need to go learn some history. The Egyptian Air Force was exterminated while sitting on ground by the Israeli Air Force in a pre-emptive strike not NATO and till date only a Pakistani pilot has ever downed a Israeli Airforce Aircraft while engaged in a dogfight.

God forbid if that time comes, our launchers will be destroyed soon as they will come in the site of satellites.

You need to stop watching hollywood movies and see what kind of actual Nuclear tech we have, its pretty classified so not many know. Before anyone knows it we would have launched and don't fall for shitty stuff like Patriot defense and Iron Dome defense system. I've seen first hand actually how effective the patriot system is, it has a very low success rate, contrary to what was being told to the media in the first gulf war.

And on conventional side dont forget how they kicked our A22 in Kargil.

In Kargil we actually had the upper hand and made good ground, it was only because Nawaz Sharif once again wagged his tail in front of his American masters than we had to pull out. Although I agree it was a stupid adventure initiated by us for no reason at all.

AFAI can remember, France and UK were only interested in the Suez Canal, yes there was British and French military action but from what I can recall the EAF strike was an Israeli action.

The Egyptians were caught off guard because they had no idea an attack was coming.

And I never talked about iron dome or patriot system. I said we will not be given any time to launch. And that is also a possibility. Not saying we will totally fail.

But I did. There is no way anyone can prevent Pakistan or India for that matter to stop them from launching its nukes. They are only detected once they are away, giving a very short window for the other to react. They might get some sites which are not kept ready and fueling up of rockets, equipment movement can be seen from spy satellites and a preemptive strike launched.

If they had such a guaranteed way of stopping nuke launches, the west wouldn't be so bothered with our nukes. They would just set up a permanent watchdog and just blow up our shit even before it was away.

Plus we have mobile nukes too that can keep moving.

Okay I think I was mistaken in my concept of direct involvement of British and french air force to save suez. I read it some where long time ago but looking at it again shows that Israeli air force had British and french air crafts. maybe I misunderstood it.
