India is expanding the Mysore nuclear plant. It's located close to a city with frequent Hindu-Christian clashes, a mushrooming Hindu extremist groups, and a nearby separatist insurgency which is growing in sophistication and lethality, killing more and more of Indian soldiers and police. If insurgents attack the plant, this would spell nuclear disaster for several nations that border India along the northeast and south, not to mention Indian civilians.
